JAY MAX is a bilingual Latin Pop/Hip-Hop (historically known as Urbano) artist (singer/songwriter) from the New York City area. Even though he is only 18, he has released multiple original songs in English and in Spanish on all platforms since he was 16. He is currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston where he has been working with artists and producers at Berklee, such as his producer Soundvize. He started playing piano when we was younger and became more deeply involved in music during High School where he participated in musical theater throughout. He had the privilege of writing and recording an original song “Wanting” along with Jerry Barnes from Nile Rogers and Chic at NYC famous Power Station recording studios. JAY MAX specializes in contemporary Latin Pop, R&B, trap, and reggaeton genres. He is bringing the LatinX influence into the diverse scene of Berklee in Boston in a very innovative and unique way. He recently traveled to Medellin, Colombia to write and record along with J Balvin & DJ Pope’s group 574 his single “Si Te Quedas,” which the music video and son will be released soon. His most recent singles have been included in several of Spotify’s playlists.
